I really like Gatsby, but one minor issue I have found with my Gatsby-Netlify setup is that the build times have ballooned, quickly. I do not have a huge number of posts on this site at time of writing, but already my builds were taking nearly 13 minutes each.
Luckily, there is a solution. I found this post and implemented it’s recommendations. My next build took 13 minutes and 39 seconds.
The next took 1 minute 29 seconds. That is a reduction of 89.13%.
That is an astonishing difference. I cannot recommend this highly enough.
