Weather Vane is a react front end website for displaying weather forecasting information. It was inspired by an old challenge on FreeCodeCamp, and I created it after completing the front end challenges of said camp for my own amusement and education.
When a user visits the site, the browser will attempt to gather the users location. If this is allowed, weather for the current location will be displayed. The user can input any location in the search box, and the gps co-ordinates will be found for that location and passed to an api to gather weather data.
The gathered data will then be displayed.
A working demonstration is hosted at Netlify, and you can visit it and try it out using the visit website button at the top of this page. The code is hosted at Github and you can visit this using the github button, also at the top of this page.
